nature walks.

shorts: vintage levis, shirt: j. lindeberg, shoes: jessica simpson, double finger ring: aldo, other rings: vintage

these photos showcase one of my summer uniforms: cut off shorts, a tied collared shirt, and a pair of platforms (i promise i'll stop wearing these shoes, they're just SO comfortable and they go with everything!). these are the second set of photos i took with my bud marty cherry - he's so talented!

...and just to let you guys know, i didn't win the refinery29 competition, but i'm so thankful for all of your votes and support - you guys are AMAZING! i'd like to send a huge CONGRATS to the fabulous ashley of milk teeths who won the competition!

ps - i'm so excited about nine west's "chase the blues" line because it's full of oversized, funky jewels (we all know i'm a sucker for anything over the top!). if you want to see how fashion cheers me up when i'm "chasing the blues" hop on over to their facebook page!

You'd think this would persuade me enough to purchase my own pair, but I always keep forgetting! I seriously just bought my FIRST pair of jean shorts this past weekend... well okay, that's a lie. This will be the first pair of jean shorts (in my adult life) that I will have kept.. I think? I might end up returning them in the end.. I loathe jeans, haha.
