bollywood dreams.

dress: zarna surti, earrings: bebe

this dress has a fun story: it was the first dress i designed (i had it constructed in india) back in 2005 and it ended up being my senior prom dress! i've been meaning to feature it on my blog for a while now and was excited when i had the opportunity to shoot with local photog extraordinaire, marty cherry. he's an amazing talent and i knew he'd be able to capture the nuances in the fabric and embroidery. it was fun running around barefoot in a field - i felt like i was in a bollywood film!

i also wanted to thank so many of you for entering my chicshop giveaway and i'm excited to announce the winner: v-neesa from simply chic! congrats!
