printed + a giveaway!

skirt: from the bahamas, unitard: american apparel, vest: express, shoes: michael shannon, belt: vintage, earrings: PURPOSE

i have a very exciting giveaway for all of you from PURPOSE jewelry (i'm wearing their fabulous earrings above)! they were kind enough to give one of my readers a gorgeous ring from their latest collection, disturbia, which is all about making classy look dangerous. i love how they've used materials like thumbtacks, mirror shards, nails, and leathers - it makes for a seriously unique collection.

here's all you have to do to enter the giveaway:

1) be a follower of zarna's runway through google friend connect

2) follow PURPOSE on their blog or tumblr

3) leave a comment with your email address and an answer to the question "if you win this slice ring, what would you wear it with?"

i want you all to get a head start, but i'll show you how i would wear the ring in my next post! the winner will be announced next monday, march 21st, based on the most creative answer!

i would wear the ring with a short floral dress, denim or leather jacket, chunky belt and black pumps! the ring would create just the right amount of edge, for the otherwise girly outfit :)

I would wear that ring with everything (including my fancy long one shoulder black gown for wedding gigs) but the ideal outfit:

My black and grey moto rider leggings, my black F21 loose fitting 3/4 sleeve top that has black sequin shoulder pads. My peep toe black combat boot heels and my black feather and pearl earrings. Oh yea.... and black nail polish! Ready to be a rockstar!

I love modern, big, "graphic" rings and I wear them in many different ways.

This one in particular though, I would wear it with a color blocked look: my carmine red oh-so-very-50s skirt and a bright blue silk t-shirt. I'd complement it with my ochre-light brown ballet flats and my oversize clutch in the same color.

I think that the contrast between the modernity and cold, neutral colors of the ring together with the soft shapes and bright colors of the outfit would be nice!

Your outfit is cool as usual, dear... I was so busy these days and I missed coming to your blog!

I would a pair of white jeffrey campbell wedges, a pair of black milk galaxy leggings. I also would wear my vintage late 50's era red dress. The dress would add spice to the outfit without taking away from the statement ring. To finish up the outfit I would wear a fuschia lipgloss and homeade flower headband.

I would wear it with some insane colours, to contrast the urban broody feel.
Starting with a sheer yellow shirt, with a miu miu-esque print and opaque collar. Does such an item even exist? Who knows.
I'd pair the shirt with a brown velvet bowtie I stole from my father, because clothes are so much cooler when they're stolen :)
I'd stick a black puffy skirt on top, belted at the waist, with lots of sheer layers and frill poking out from underneath, to make it even bigger. To make the outfit compatible with the english weather, I'd add seam tights and a tough stud leather jacket. And to top it off, bright blue spiky heels and red lips!
