so there is nothing better than getting all glitzed up during the holiday season but sometimes the smallest thing can ruin an outfit. take a great cocktail dress - if you don't have the proper shoes and clutch it can ruin the look of the dress.

i am a HUGE clutch fan and a great website for affordable party clutches is auzora. they have a beautiful selection of clutches and were kind enough to send me a few of their bags to play with. im rocking the "eva peron" bag in the photos above, but here are a few of my other favorites:

shoe addict: steals!

usually on my shoe posts i put up shoes that are super out of my price range. i decided to put up some shoes that are more affordable and ones that i think should be a staple in every woman's fall wardrobe! now even though i'm an advocate of a 5+ inch heel i included a mid-high heel and a flat, so all of you fabulous people could find something you like :)

1) black pumps

always a classic! everyone woman should own a delicious pair of black pumps and when paired with black tights - its a classic fall combo that no one can deny!

2) bright booties

TRUMPIT BOOTIES $149.95

i think a bright colored bootie is an instant way to make a boring outfit pop! you can pair them with a monochromatic ensemble or even wear the classic jean/white tee/leather jacket look and throw them on to instantly look trendy and chic!

3) tuxedo oxfords

i am not usually someone that wears flats, but i literally am obsessed with cute little oxfords right now. throw on a boyfriend blazer, trousers and oxfords and you can instantly pull off a boyish, yet stylish ensemble!

i do realize that some of these are still a bit pricey, but the good thing about the holiday season is that you can always find great deals...so keep a look out! i find that shopping online can be much more affordable in general as well!

wearing: zara black tee-shirt dress over vintage skirt, patricia fields belt, black tights, black pumps, f21 anchor necklace, ring from argentina, silver hoops, ray-ban wayfarers and french connection green jacket.

this is an outfit i wore the other day when i had to run around town doing a few things. i really love this coat..i saw it first in miami and then grabbed it at a french connection in nyc because i couldn't stop thinking about it! i am laughing in almost all these photos because my brother was taking the photos and literally making me crack up the whole time!

on another note, i'd like you guys to share some of your favorite music on here. i'm looking for some new albums to purchase. i'm currently making a new album of my own and want to listen to all sorts of artists to gain influence from!

im wearing a vintage turquoise necklace, red plaid vest, black tee, black h&m skinnies, silence&noise leather jacket and these amazing boots i purchased in argentina (perfect for nyc because they are totally comfortable to walk around in!).

so i was up in nyc earlier and these are some photos i took at bryant park. i also went and saw this AMAZING exhibit at the international center of pphotography called "dress codes". if you are in nyc, i highly reccomend going to check it out!

well...im back! it's been forever since i last blogged and i thought it would be fun to start up again!

since we were last in touch i went to argentina/bolivia/uruguay for two months, and then proceeded

to new york, miami and nashville (where i am currently). i'll fill you in on all of that soon, but i

figured for my first post back i should keep it simple.

here i am laying sweaters...i mean we layer tees, accessories and bottoms..so why not sweaters?

i'm wearing a vintage men's button down vest with my mom's double breasted cardigan, express jeans,

top shop earrings and anne klein pumps. got these shoes a year ago and haven't pulled them out in

a while..forgot how much i loved them! i'm also wearing some rouge on my lips. i've been

experimenting with lip colors and am loving it :)

nashville has had some warm weather recently, which is very odd for this time of year, but it seems like

we are finally settling into fall! here are some photos i took in front of my house that proves just that:
