just a plaid shirt and jeans.

so todays my birthday (yay!) and last night i went out with a few of my friends.we were doing something super casual so i did my best to fit in ;)

i bought this top at a boutique recently and it is a huge monstrosity.  so i folded away the sleeve and tucked it in to some skinny jeans.  

it just goes to show you, just because a shirt looks a certain way doesn't mean you have to wear it that way.  i wear my shirts backwards sometime! 

for example, im not really into v-neck shirts because im not a huge cleavage fan.  so sometimes i wear them backwards and get a great deep v in the back and a higher neckline up front!  try playing with the idea sometime, its fun!

the last two pics show my hair/makeup/jewels.  i blow dryed my hair out for some extra va-va-voom and i kept the makeup pretty low key.  also i wore the biggest hoops known to man.  i bought them for $5 on the street in new york :)

i didn't have a good pic of my shoes, but you better believe i was wearing my bcbg boots to top off the outfit.
