tunic.

tunic: saachi by inthings, shoes: bebe, belt: banana republic, earrings: unknown, rings: house of harlow

indian-inspired tunics seem to have blended into global style recently and i was lucky enough to shoot a few pieces from inthing's latest tunic collection! my friend suruchi owns the business and is an amazing photographer (her pieces can be found online and at stores like anthropologie). this tunic is my favorite from the collection because of the amazing embroidery! i'm always baffled by the fabulous detailing on indian clothing - it's so intricate and beautiful!

have you all ever worn indian-inspired tunics? if you haven't don't worry - i have a few more posts coming up on different ways to wear them!

Such a lovely tunic. One of my work colleagues is Indian. I was at her place on Friday and she was showing me all of her tunics that she brought over with her to Australia. They are all so colourful and have beautiful detailed embroidery. I said that I'd love to have a few of these tunics in my wardrobe. So I'll be keen to see how you wear and style them in your upcoming posts.

UGH can we, like, trade wardrobes, and I can steadily steal all of your clothes while pretending to wear them, or something? This is gorgeous!!!!!
I've never been able to find any nice Indian tunics, but I do wear (Moroccan) kaftans sometimes! They're mostly traditional and for pre-wedding parties, but I wear them around the house for fun sometimes ;).
Beautiful earrings, by the way!

Well this is a perfect tunic. The reason? The shape, I love love the A-line and the fact that it is that short, it shows your magnificent legs. The texture of the fabric is incredible and I love the colors. The orange looks amazing with your skin tone. But what you do best? Accessories: the earrings, oh the earrings. I thought it would be too much with the collar, but it is not. And the black shoes are perfect.

The detailing is amazing! So beautiful! I've never worn indian-inspired tunics, but in Romania we have a traditional blouse, it's called "ie", it's handmade and it has the most delicate, intricate details and seams. It's usually white and the detailing on it is either white, red or navy. It's also very sheer, which makes it perfect for summer. :)
