the fabulous folks at my name necklace sent me this necklace and I couldn't help but feel like carrie bradshaw for the day! i think we all died a little when she lost her carrie necklace during the last season in paris, but thank god she found it in the end! 

i paired my carrie-esque necklace with this amazing pink vintage blazer that i'm totally in love with right now. i thought it was important to rock some pink this month because it's breast cancer awareness month!  a friend of mine who works with the susan g. komen foundation told me about a great way to raise funds for the foundation:

"This October, Purina Cat Chow and Kate Walsh have teamed up with Susan G. Komen in a campaign called Cat Nap for the Cause that invites supporters nationwide to take a 20-min nap to support breast cancer. For each “cat napper” that signs up for a cat nap on their Facebook page, Purina Cat Chow will donate $2 up to $150,000 – on top of their 2010 donation of $200,000!"

so basically all you have to do is hop on over to their facebook page and click the "like" button.  it's such an easy way to contribute and what's more chic than donating to an important cause??
