I'd like to introduce you all to one fabulous singer/songwriter from the fierce land of Russia!  Her name's Nancy Newlis and  her latest EP, Dreamers, had me rocking out hard in my black-studded five inch stilettos.  Songs like "Dreamers" and "Social Standing" were perfection with their catchy hooks and fierce vocals.  Others like "Good Morning Heartache" had me rocking out in my car and "Dear Friend" had the most powerful lyrics on the whole album!

I must let you know, Nancy Newlis means business.  She came to the University of Miami at age sixteen and graduated at nineteen, when she promptly moved to New York City!  She truly is the perfect example of a fabulous female.  Her music screams independence, fun and power!

Nancy Newlis clearly has two great talents: perfect vocals and amazing lyrics.  When listening to her album, I was most impressed with her ability to write these beautiful songs.  Her songs are a blend of emotions that everyone feels and she articulates all of these feelings perfectly (and considering English is her second language, we must all just sit and be amazed!).  All her songs are catchy and could easily be huge hits, but they also have this amazing undertone of quality lyrics and musicianship.
