things that every girl needs.

even the most fabulous ladies need a pick me up sometimes and i've compiled a list of things that always bring out my inner fashionista.

1. BUYING PLATFORM HEELS.  

why?  they are much more comfortable then regular heels and they make you tall and fierce.  i promise, just trying on a pair will make you feel wonderful.  michael kors, giuseppe zanotti and of course christian louboutin are masters of the platform heel, but here are some seriously dreamy chanel platforms:

2. GETTING YOUR HAIR BLOWN OUT.

you know that feeling when you leave the salon and your hair looks all big and fabulous?  if you don't know how to blow dry your hair out, make an appointment for friday afternoon and get it styled for the weekend.  it'll make you feel wonderful!

3. WEARING BIG EARRINGS.

and i do mean..BIG.  i love earrings and they make me feel gorgeous.  try on a big pair, a pair that you might not ever think of wearing.  put on a simple black dress, huge earrings, some tights and great pumps.  you'll look tres chic, promise.

4. GETTING A FABULOUS DRESS.

ok, so im totally dress obsessed.  partially because i live in miami, and partially because i think dresses are a quick and easy way to look great.  if you think about it, its just as easy to throw on a cute dress and a belt in the morning as it is to put on a tee-shirt and sweatpants.  so go and buy yourself a dress that flatters you and most importantly..makes YOU feel gorgeous and throw it on in the a.m.

5. WORKING IT OUT (AND I DO MEAN BEYONCE STYLE).

not to sound totally cliche, but being confident about what you wear is 99% of it.  if you don't feel comfortable in something and look shy about it, its not gonna work.  but if you WORK IT and don't care about anyone else but you, you've got the secret!  if you need some extra help with this, put on "Single Ladies" and get that Sasha Fierce boost we all need sometimes.
